Priding themselves on avoiding Myanmar’s commercial tourist circuit, we're proud to work with this dynamic duo in Myanmar's southernmost area that borders Thailand Gulf Coast and connects into Thailand's Andaman coast. Like us, they want to offer our clients a genuine connection with the country and its down-to--earth people while appreciating the unspoiled beauty of off-the-beaten track hideaways.
The Missing Link - From Ranong to Kanchanaburi
We first worked with them to put together what we call the "missing link" - a connection between the Thai city of Ranong on the Andaman coast that snakes up the coast in Myanmar and then cuts back into Thailand's Kanchanaburi region. With this novel route, we can offer our more adventurous customers an amazing trip and a connection into Sai Yok, another hidden gem nestled side-by-side with the more touristy areas of Kanchanaburi as well as close proximity to Bangkok's international airports.
The "East Meets West" Dynamic Duo
Andre is originally from Germany and fell in love with Myanmar in 2013. He quickly set down roots in 2014. With the help of his parents, he launched his operation with local partner Jeffrey and has been working with us since 2018. Jeffrey grew up in the area and studied as an engineer in Singapore and the United States. He works in many areas to help develop his hometown of Myeik and is a living encyclopedia of all things related to the southern part of Myanmar.
