To Nurture Local Entrepreneurs
There's a lot of ways to express the way in which we view what we want to accomplish in the local communities to which we send our customers. We've found that to find the absolute best experiences, there's usually a local entrepreneur who has a genuine love for their community and who is already actively supporting the people and environment they live in.
For that reason, we thought it best to talk about "nurturing" these local entrepreneurs. We're not creating the spark for innovation, we're just providing these enthusiastic and committed people with more resources to expand the work they already do and teach them about the tourism industry, our customers' desires and the nuts-and-bolts of operating their experience in a safe, professional and sustainable manner.
Sometimes they're from there and sometimes they're foreigners who have fallen in love with their community. It doesn't matter as long as they're actively supporting the community - creating good jobs, investing their profits back into the community and generally acting as a catalyst for sustainable development.

One Authentic Experience At A Time
What we do is all about quality. We've spent months and years preparing some of our experiences for our customers to make sure they're fun, insightful, and safe. If we're successful, our customers have no idea how long and how hard we've worked to make it work just right. But it's important to check ourselves along the way and make sure we're not manufacturing something that isn't really there. We believe in showcasing the best that our destinations have to offer and authenticity means carefully planning each step of the experience.
It also means we don't rush things. Our product team usually gets the ball rolling and find the local partners and explain how we do business and what we expect. Our Travel Advisors will sell an intrepid group on trying something for the first time and travel with them to gauge their reaction and bring their own feedback back to the product team. Our reservations and operations teams will test the local team to make sure they're ready to support our customers in special cases and when the inevitable oversight happens. And, of course, our accounting team keeps a close eye on all of us to make sure both us and our partners are operating within the norms of the country in which we're operating.
